About Me

Hi, I'm Ashleigh! A freelance illustrator based in Southern California, better known online as MissUpacey.

I create artwork that blends bold femininity with dark folklore, drawing inspiration from horror, fantasy, pop culture, and all things beautifully strange.

I graduated with a BFA from Laguna College of Art + Design in 2016. Since then, I've had the opportunity to work with clients including Sideshow, Vault Comics, BOOM! Studios, Titan Comics, and Upper Deck. I'm also the author of Hellebore: The Art of MissUpacey, published by 3dtotal Publishing.

When I'm not illustrating, you'll usually find me spending time with my rescue animals (some with fur, others with scales), gaming, or dreaming up my next collection.

Why "Missupacey?"

People often ask where the name MissUpacey came from. It's actually named after my dog, Pacey, who I had in middle school. After he passed away, I created the username "Miss U Pacey" as a way to remember him, and eventually it became my artist name.
